Whaling voyage logbook 1887-1892

This volume contains the log of a whaling voyage in the South Atlantic aboard the Greyhound, a whaling bark out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Joseph T. Enos was its master, and entries date from October 18, 1887 through April 19, 1892. The ship anchored occasionally at St. Helena. Entries record weather conditions, work on board, whales seen, whales taken, and other information and are written in several different hands
